Bloggers.

My search for a good coffee in Nth America continues to a large degree to be unfruitful. Sure there has been the good odd cup or two, but by and large the holy temple that is my taste buds has been desecrated by percolated "regular" coffee. Like Captain Ahab searching for the Great White Whale on the oceans of yore, I too scour the cold wasteland that is the Eastern Townships looking for a decent cup of java.

I recently saw an entry on Glenn Fleishman's blog about the great coffee he'd found around Seattle and this got me thinking... "Is there an online repository of good cafes?". If no, the then why the hell not?

With this thought in mind, and smack like craving for Gods dark nectar, I am wondering if I should start up a cafe rating directory?

Now, back in Melbourne my home town, my journey continues, and yes, I find solace in the blogging of coffee do try. Here's the result http://coffee.christo.com.au -- for what its worth!

Good luck!
